    This is the half oz. lure from Gar Man Jack. It is by far the most popular lure in the inventory. That is because it is easy to make long casts with this lure to get it right to the Gar. This lure is 8 ½” long and has a built in 30 lb. mono leader. The head is painted in five colors.
   Use this lure with any spinning or casting outfit. Jack recommends a line size from 6 lb. to the 24 lb. Spiderline fusion. Use a snap swivel to attach the lure as this will help prevent line twist.
   When you see the Gar, cast right to him, bringing your lure back in front of his face. Use a slow to medium retrieve with an occasional twitch. If he follows but will not take the lure, reel faster and give the rod tip a couple of good snaps. This will often trigger a strike.
