Once you catch the Gar, you have a potential problem on your hands. A Gar has multiple rows of razor sharp teeth. The trick is how to get the hookless Gar lure out of there without having to put your hand into the fishes mouth. The Gar Jack will make releasing the Gar quick, easy and most of all, safe!

The Gar Jack is easy to use. Put the end with the notches in it over the side of your boat. Hold the other end with your foot. Then pull the Gar up thru the notch closest in size to his nose. Slid the wooden blade between his jaws to wedge his mouth open. He will now be stuck it the Gar Jack. Use a pair of pliers to unwind the Hookless Gar Lure from his teeth. Wearing a pair of gloves would be a good idea. Once the fish is free, pull the wooden blade out and he will fall right back into the lake. It is quick, easy, and most of all, safe!
