This lure has no lead weight and is for trolling
with an electric motor. The lure will run about a foot or two down
depending on the speed of your motor. Tie a locking snap swivel to
your line to keep this lure from twisting as it is trolled. Another
reason for the snap swivel is so that you can unhook the lure from
your line when you get the Gar in the boat. That gets your rod out
of the way as you “unhook” the fish. You can also troll this lure
with the topwater lure by attaching it with a 6’ to 10’ mono leader
behind the topwater lure. If you have any questions,
